C4K's 28th annual Good Start Back to School project  held in August for the 2023-24 school year helps around 2000 specific students from low-income families in the Bellevue School District with backpacks plus school supplies for home use. These students' backgrounds vary.  Some are refugees from Ukraine or violence in other countries; some are escaping domestic violence; some are homeless.  All are experiencing poverty.  These backpacks and school supplies give them a lifeline to normalcy.
